MANUFACTURING

The integrated and advanced manufacturing process ensures optimum quality at every stage of the production process. The manufacturing process can effectively be classified into five categories as follows

MELTING

MELTING

High quality sponge iron(processed iron ore) is melted to a temperature of 1700Celsiusin highly efficient and advanced induction furnaces. After ensuring the desired chemistry and the addition of required alloys, the steel is transferred for casting into billet.

CASTING

CASTING

After the molten metal is metallurgical tested, it is brought to the casting machine to cast high quality semi finish i.e billets and cut into desired length and sent for rolling.

Rolling

ROLLING

The billets produced are then rolled while hot in temperature in the rolling mill to the desired size. The bars get ribs and lugs for better gripping in this process.

Cooling & Cut to Length

CUT TO LENGTH

The cooled TMT bars are then cut to length of standard 12 meter and sent to the lab for further and final testing. After the approval from lab, the TMT bars are dispatched.

Quenching & Cooling

After rolling, the hot rolled bars are cooled by spraying clean water under high pressure. This process creates a hard outer layer to provide strength and a soft inner layer to provide ductility. This is how Thermo Mechanically Treated (TMT) bars are made in desired Fe-500 Grade.

What Differentiates Us

  • The integrated process from melting to rolling ensures quality control at every step of the production process
  • Use of processed iron ore instead of scrap to produce clean and stronger steel.
  • Reliability in infrastructure projects like Dams and Bridges
  • Customized Length for large diameter bars.
  • Preferred Brand for higher diameter bars (32mm, 25mm, 20mm) due to our physical and chemical quality and guaranteed Fe-500 grade.
  • Our focus and commitment on quality, consistency and timely delivery.
